Vorig jaar is onze lieve (schoon)moeder en vriendin, Greetje, gediagnosticeerd met ALS.
Een grote klap voor ons allemaal, we willen haar nog niet missen. Daarnaast is gebleken dat het om een familiaire vorm gaat waardoor de impact op de familie groot is. Greetjes vader is op 59-jarige leeftijd overleden aan dezelfde ziekte.
Er is helaas nog geen medicijn. Onderzoeksgeld om de oorzaak en behandeling van ALS te onderzoeken is hard nodig. Om geld in te zamelen beklimmen we in juni 2024 samen de Mont Ventoux.
Iedere donatie, klein of groot, waarderen we enorm!
Tour du ALS is the largest event organized by the ALS Netherlands Foundation. Under the slogan “Get on your feet to beat ALS” , hundreds of cyclists, runners and hikers climb the Mont Ventoux together with ALS patients. All participants, volunteers, patients, donors and attendees contribute in the steps towards finding the cause of ALS and ultimately a medicine.
